Back home, Amy has released two previous EP’s. She feels fortunate to have the support of her provincial government (with career successes shared on social media by Saskatchewan’s premiere) and her federal government (funded through the FACTOR program). Successes back home include contest contest wins, such as the Canadian Country Music Spotlight Performance contest and the Jack Daniel’s Supporting Act contest (both fan-voted, national contests in 2016). She has performed hundreds of shows across Canada including performances at the Calgary Stampede (5 of 6 past years) and repeat performances for Canadian Troops.
Amy loves to travel. She has been seen on stages in the England, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand and the US. International performances include the Canada Day celebrations in London England at Trafalgar Square and the legendary Listening Room Café in Nashville, TN.
During Amy’s showcase at AMW, you can expect to hear modern pop/country music, with lyrics that reflect confidence, a quirky personality and some terrible luck in love. Amy brings a ton of energy to the stage with a strong, solid voice that – recently trained by vocal coach Tamara Beatty of the hit US show, the voice. On a CMT television show (CMT is the North American version of CMC), Gord Bamford was quoted saying Amy had perfect pitch. I guess you will have to come to the showcase to hear for yourself…
