Gold Member have made their presence recognised by supporting Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale, Boo Seeka, Bootleg Rascal and Caravana Sun along with appearing at festivals such as Festival of the Sun, Woodford Folk Festival, Beyond the Valley and Party in the Paddock. In 2017, the boys unveiled singles – “Sweetest Thing”, a mix of sugar, spice and everything nice that grooved its way on the triple j Unearthed charts and ‘Waiting For You’ – showing a more softer, melodic side to the trio which accumulated over 900,000 plays on Spotify.
Their most recent single, “Worth It” is a song inspired by that expression: “Love what you do and never work a day in your life”. It’s a reminder to not wasting time doing the things that you’ll regret. “Just cuz it’s working, it doesn’t mean that it is worth it”. Since its release, ‘Worth It’ has received Spotify Editorial playlisting on New Music Friday and Indie Arrivals. “Worth It” is the 70’s soul, Sunday 5am burn. It’s a kick start and a recovery in one track.
Live, Goldie are high energy. A blend of dance beat driven synth wig outs and soulful interplanetary vocals. They bounce tracks through a musical outer-verse that includes Dominic Fike, MGMT and Cautious Clay. Not planning on slowing down anytime soon, the trio have recently toured Europe & UK. Supporting Ocean Alley on their German and Holland shows and jumping on some summer festival slots including Rock les Bains, Enter the Waves and BeCider x Seaside.
