Under different stage names, the singer-songwriter has supported some of Australia’s best performers, including Harts, The Medics and Josh Pyke – among many others – at venues across Australia. While formerly known as alternative-rocker Lionheir, his debut album Lair, which he co-produced, was played on Triple J, FBI and radio stations across Australia to positive reviews. Triple J Australian Music Director on the album’s first single, Waterfall – “This is a really well put-together tune, Lionheir. There’s a charming vintage pop vibe throughout and the production’s just super bright and gleeful.”
Later steering away from the abilities of technology, Green wanted to record a second Lionheir album entirely live, and he did so in 2015, co-producing it with drummer Grant Gerathy in the bedroom of Byron-based engineer Jordan Power, who has mixed for Angus Stone, The Temper Trap and Liam Finn.
