Across their three albums, The Ramona Flowers have mastered the art of seamlessly meshing rock and electronica, creating a sonic euphony that is equal parts anthemic and danceable, with an ear for the sound of tomorrow. Their latest album ‘Strangers’ is the sound of a band who have refined their craft through years of experience, experimenting with a breadth of styles to fully excavate their potential and discover exactly who they want to be. “People see us live and they say suddenly it all comes together and makes sense to them,” says guitarist Sam James of the band’s vibrant live set, which they’ve taken to stages all over the world, including headline shows in the US and Japan. The live show often sees frontman Steve Bird jump off the stage to get amongst the crowd and deliver a fully immersive experience; it is this passion for engaging with their fans that makes The Ramona Flowers so special. The coming year will see the five-piece take to the road with rock legends Stereophonics, ahead of the release of more new music in 2019. September and October of this year will also see the band tour Europe with label mates The Ninth Wave and Danny Goffey of Supergrass.
