Kimberly’s music career began in commercial radio announcing but the love of independent Australian original music saw her leave to co-own an established music venue in VIC at 22 y/o. She developed her networks, industry knowledge and skills working and touring Australian and International artists. In 2013, Kim moved to QLD to join forces with independent music industry professionals Beats Cartel.
As co-owner of Beats, her role is extensive. Agent, manager and PR for live music venues, events, festivals & artists. Kim works with artists within the Australian touring circuit, booking AUS & NZ tours. Kim also manages bands Cheap Fakes & Hemingway.
In 2015, Kim became President of music NFP, East Coast Originals. She runs 3 monthly community funded, all ages, free events including Peregian Originals. Kim books, promotes, facilitates and MC’s all events and leads a large team of volunteers and staff.
In 2017 Kim co-founded Little Wing Agency that nurtures new music industry professionals. Kim works closely with 4 new agents mentoring them through the industry. Overseeing bookings and management of 9 acts under Little Wing.
In 2017 Kim co-founded creative industry space in Burleigh Heads, Mo’s Desert Clubhouse. A dedicated safe haven for creatives to create, inspire and collaborate.
Kim also takes on management roles at Big Pineapple Music Festival, Dead Of Winter Festival, Mojo Burning & Originals Fest. She competently MC’s at large events & awards nights such as GC Music Awards.
