Due to the structured nature of my current career path as a Business Analyst I was looking for a creative outlet that could make use of my current skills and allow for more creative thinking, ingenuity, and freedom. I have always loved music as a consumer and wanted to understand it from the creative side and see how an idea is turned into a song and is then used to sustain the lives of those who went into its creation.
My passion in this space is to create quality music for the average working adult and focus on the issues and problems that they face that are rarely talked about or addressed in pop culture, yet are a daily experience for many. Issues such as colleagues passing away, or the reduction in emotional closeness in long-term marriages, or making friends in the new modern world.
There seems to be a huge gap in the market that targets adults with large incomes between the ages of (30 – 50) who love music yet find they are unable to relate to it as it does not deal with issues that are a part of their daily reality.
My goal is to see if I can create music for my team in my ‘day-job’ that they not only like and can relate to but would go out of their way to acquire.
