Hill Town are an Australian four-piece indie rock outfit from the Southern Beaches of Sydney, consisting of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Josh Horner, lead guitarist Nick Wiles, bass guitarist Alex Kairies and drummer Lewis Mexted. Seen through their evocative choruses and overdriven leads, the group draws inspiration from artists like Catfish and the Bottlemen, Last Dinosaurs and Turnover.
Hill Town have been spreading their energetic grit throughout many Sydney venues including The Lansdowne Hotel and The Vanguard. Their first two single releases ‘Young’ and ‘I Don’t Mind’ were well-received, further fueling their insatiable appetite to gig, write and record. The band’s debut EP is due to be released late-2019. Hill Town have played alongside some big names at events including the King Street Crawl and Sounds of the Suburbs. They have headlined shows and supported other acts in Sydney venues from their home Cronulla, to Newtown, Chippendale and Coogee. The band will be releasing their third single ‘Closure’ on the 6th of September. Their debut EP is due to be released in late-2019.
