I manage the four-person online press department at Planetary Group. At Planetary, we handle and pursue PR opportunities for various clients that range from unsigned upstart acts to more established signed acts. My role is to oversee our team of publicists, curate campaign strategies in accordance to a client’s needs i.e. a single release, video release, album release, tour coverage and foster relationships with notable publications to facilitate coverage and awareness for our roster of artists.
Currently, our artists fall within the “indie rock” / “indie-pop” spectrum but we work a wide variety of genres and artists at all different phases in their careers. We’ve been successful in securing placements on sites like Billboard, The FADER, BrooklynVegan, AFROPUNK, Paste Magazine, FLAUNT, and more.
