Pam Merrigan is Artistic Director of the National Folk Festival overseeing all aspects of the even’ts artistic program including artist selection. The Festival is a multifaceted event offering a wide range of engagement across diverse styles including acoustic, blues, roots, indie, bluegrass, world, gypsy, Celtic and country. Embracing music from our own backyard to that from across the world including some of the quirkier aspects of folk the Festival books both international and national artists. Pam is especially interested in providing opportunities for new and emerging artists with plenty of room for the new generation of folk troubadours. The National Folk Festival is held annually over the Easter weekend at Exhibition Park in Canberra, ACT.
